E4S Interim Executive Director Michael Dungan congratulates this year's honorees and thanks them for the example they set in the community.  "E4S Champions carry the special distinction of being nominated by their peers for the work they do as implementers as well as for the inspiration they provide for others.  We welcome this year's group to our growing roster of individuals who are embedding sustainability principles in their organization's operations, product design, company culture and client services."

Since 2000, E4S has been honored for its innovative approach to sustainable economic development through the power of networks and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.  Over 10,000 individuals have been touched by E4S programming over that span of time leading to measurable outcomes in the areas of energy efficiency, local food, renewable energy, biomimicry as a design strategy, and zero waste.
