Braun & Steidl Architects, established in 1983, provides a full range of architectural and interior design services from intricate restorations to multimillion dollar new facilities, over a wide array of project types. Our well-designed facilities are respected for their creativity, appropriateness, functionality, and sustainable principles. We take pride in our service to clients, dedication to quality, and innovative solutions. This commitment has earned our firm The AIA Ohio Gold Medal Firm Award, which is bestowed to one firm annually that upholds “the aesthetic, scientific and practical excellence of the profession".

Current Sustainability Projects and Goals

As an Architectural Firm with 14 LEED accredited professionals, our firm is a regional leader in Building information Technology and its integration into virtual energy utilization and sustainability modeling. we have eight projects that are registered with the U.S. Green Building Council, pursuing LEED Certification and are especially proud of our LEED Volume Build Certification that we helped implement for Marriott International for their Courtyard Hotel prototype.

Next Steps

Recognizing that Sustainability Goals and Practices extend beyond what we 'do', we are looking internally at our office policy and procedure to outline and implement sustainable practices that support what we do in our professional life, as well as to become a resource to our local neighborhoods and communities, through volunteerism and engagement. We view E4S as an important vehicle in our ability to gain knowledge and support for the initiation of those efforts.
